Our church is a close and welcoming community of friends and family that strive to live out the Word humbly and honestly. Please feel free to look around and visit our messages. We would love to see you on Sunday.
We as a church believe that children of all ages belong with the body of Christ and that both the children and the rest of the congregation benefit most when we are all together.
On Sunday mornings, worship begins at 10:30 am. We encourage families to acclimate their children to the full worship service as soon as they are able. We want kids to understand that they are welcomed and valued in the church. For those families who keep their children in the service, we offer an inter-generational approach which includes quiet coloring activities for kids at their seats, an interactive children’s lesson during worship time, and involving children to participate in the basic duties of the service itself.
With that core belief that supports our approach to children at First Baptist Church, we understand that some families and kids may need more flexibility in this area and we want to provide support for all those needs as best as we can. We are happy to offer a combination nursery for babies and toddlers that starts at 10:30, and a simple Bible class for older kids up to age 9 which starts at the time of the sermon.
